WOW !!! A PARANORMAL LOVE STORY AT IT'S BEST !!! ByTonya Halliburtonon March 6, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition | Verified Purchase I thought the book was EXCELLENT!!! A must read... I recommend you check it out for yourself, you will be glad you did... I'm a avid reader, and It kept my full attention from beginning to end, it will keep you in suspense. My heart went out to Penelope for what she endured as a baby and child, TABOO ! BETRAYAL at the utmost. The feud between her and Ronald's love interest Pradine was especially touching, they both loved him so. I cheered when the princess of darkness Kimberly James and Mo Bones got what they had coming..... I laughed, I cried and was even inspired. The ending was a total surprise..........Can't wait for the sequel, like Penny said the fight continues.

Brilliant novel that pushes the boundary on a classic love story ByAmazon Customeron June 10, 2016 Format: Kindle Edition At its heart, A Daughter's Rage is a story about love, betrayal, and the longing to belong. As someone who does not typically gravitate to paranormal literature I enjoyed how the author, Ronald Gordon, made the story accessible by drawing on common emotions and themes so that although the story involved ghosts I could still relate to Penny's desire to be loved and the lengths she was willing to go to find it. Ronald is not afraid to take risks and push the boundary to write a new classic love story. Highly recommend!

An exciting writing style By Pat McDonald on October 15, 2015 Format: Kindle Edition Ronald Jackson has always been able to see dead people but it isn???t until Penny a 16 year old freckled faced red head shows up that he has actually been able to talk to one. Her request, to help her kill her mother, unnerves him and he becomes close to falling back into his old addictions. It makes him dwell on his own mother???s death which doesn???t help him and when Penny comes back to seek revenge, he discovers his mother was murdered. This is the author???s debut novel. It is remarkably untainted by an adherence to ???writing rules??? as specified by one writing expert or another. It is a natural and easy writing style of prose that I found quite exciting. Formatting and reminiscing into the past is spot on making the story line flow easy as it should. This book made me think about my own ghosts. Anyone who has lost a parent at a young age will spend most of their lives older than they remembered them to be. Penny???s son is the same age as her and it didn???t seem an unnatural phenomenon to me as the book says ??? ghosts don???t grow any older than when they died. It is a very thought provoking story as it tackles a lot of modern day issues. I found that Penny had me sympathising with her allegiances as I got caught up in her Rage. This is a remarkably well written first book by a promising author whom I think has great future books to come. Pat McDonald (Crime Author)
